Redmi Note 9 pro has a lower starting price than its predecessor but the modern feature does not disappoint the customer at all.
Redmi Note 9 pro comes with Full HD+ resolution with 6.67 inch Dot display. The cinematic screen has 20:9 aspect ratios with front camera at the center top of the screen. The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G which is powerful processor for this device. Unlike the Poco X2 and Realme 6 pro, the phone does not have a high refresh rate panel. The unique design on this device has to be the back panel of the phone. The glossy pane of Gorilla Glass 5 is a brilliant concept to put at. The glossy texture acts as a mirror. The included case can be used if you do not want the fingerprint to stay on the device.
The phone is powerful and goes smoothly with everyday work. The display is clear and crisp where the game and the movies look amazing. You can find the USB-C port at the bottom edge with the headphone jack. On the left, there is a combined slot for dual nano SIM and microSD card for memory expansion.
You can choose between different variants such as 4GB of Ram and 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The camera module is centrally located but instead of vertical arrangement, all four camera sensors are enclosed in rectangular section with flash beneath it.
The quad camera has primary lens of 48MP, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera has 16MP with circular cut out at the top of the display.
Redmi Note 9 pro has 5020 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and Type C USB port. The fingerprint reader is enclosed in a power key and is extremely fast to unlock the phone. The button is easy to reach even with single hand.
The device is available in three color variant- Glacier White, Aurora Black, and Interstellar Black.
Audio output in Redmi Note 9 pro has decent sound quality without any hiss. The audio output is loud and has dynamic ranges. Speaker output is also loud enough but lacks the bass. You can use dual stereo speakers to elevate the experience as a whole.

Overall, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 pro is a quality phone at mid-range budget. The strong processor configuration has high storage and RAM duo. The device comes with 18W fast charging that will give you longer talk time and screen time.
Redmi Note 9 pro is a value for money device. Although its competitors have been pushing the standards of specs and price, Redmi Note 9 pro is following up with great performance, brand image and subtle price.
With the mid-range budget phone, the day to day performance is exceptional. MIUI is well integrated to the hardware and delivers amazing experience.
If you are a gamer who wishes to play game, then base version of the phone with 4GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 720G is capable of powering through any app and offer better experience to the users. MIUI integrates everything at once such as themes; rotating lock screen wallpapers, file manager and many more. The sheer amount of third party apps can be distracting.
There are number of app inclusions that increase with every release and not all of the apps can be removed. The notification bar can be full of spams that are a downfall for many users. You can disable the apps, however but it reduces the user experience.
After the launch, Xiaomi has offered a range of updates which included regular security patches, system performance and stability. Later in May 2020, Xiaomi issued MIUI updates with security patch only. Later, in July 2020, the company initiated MIUI 11.0.8.0.OJWINXM with the June security patch. In September 2020, the company introduced MIUI 12 updates with Android 10. Finally, in January 2021, the phone has Android 11 based MIUI 12 update.
